Installation and external BMS requirement Please note: this smart lithium battery requires an external Battery Management System (BMS), such as the VE.Bus BMS, SmallBMS, or Smart BMS CL. The external BMS safeguards the battery against deep discharge, overcharging, and extreme temperatures. Mount the unit upright and link the dual data cables to the BMS.
Operating and charging guidelines Securely fasten the terminal bolts. Charge using a dedicated battery charger or solar charge controller configured with a lithium charging profile (absorption voltage 14.2V to 14.4V). Unlike lead-acid, this maintenance-free battery thrives in a partial state of charge and does not require immediate full recharging.
