Parallel Use & Output Power

When you connect two MXR3500 generators with the Parallel Kit BLH-3216-EU, the following applies:

  • Maximum load on 32A CEE socket (230V)

    • The box is fused at 32A and can handle short peaks up to 32A.

  • Continuous output in practice

    • On petrol: approx. 6.4 kW6,400 W × 0.9 / 230V ≈ 25.0 A continuous.

    • On LPG: approx. 5.8 kW5,800 W × 0.9 / 230V ≈ 22.7 A continuous.

  • Additional Schuko socket

    • Maximum 16 A (230V).

Important note
The parallel calculation includes a 90% efficiency factor. This is standard for inverter generators: the rated power is multiplied by 0.9 to determine the real-world output.

Example calculation
Two 3,000 W generators in parallel:
(3,000+3,000)×0.9=5,400W(3,000 + 3,000) × 0.9 = 5,400 W(3,000+3,000)×0.9=5,400W

➡️ In real-world use, you can expect around 22–25 A continuous from the 32A socket, depending on the fuel used.
