AEB 466 MAP Emulator - Ignition Advance Optimizer for LPG and CNG Systems

The AEB 466 MAP emulator is a professional ignition controller specifically designed as an alternative to timing advance processors in vehicles equipped with an LPG installation or CNG system. This intelligent MAP sensor emulator optimizes the ignition timing and advance curve for vehicles with a manifold absolute pressure sensor, achieving optimal performance while driving on autogas.

Key features and benefits

This ignition emulator is ideal for older vehicles built before 2000 where a standard timing advance variator cannot be installed. The AEB 466 automatically adjusts the ignition advance based on intake manifold pressure, reducing the risk of backfire and flame reversion in the intake manifold. The device operates with a supply voltage of 10-14V DC and features original connectors that easily connect to OEM wiring.

  • Improves engine performance and acceleration on LPG and CNG
  • Prevents sudden power loss during acceleration on gas
  • Optimizes ignition timing and spark advance
  • Compatible with MAP sensor systems
  • Reduces risk of backfire in intake manifold
  • Operating voltage: 10-14V DC
  • Plug-and-play installation with original connectors

Installation and usage

Mount the AEB 466 MAP emulator between the MAP sensor and the engine control unit ECU. The supplied connection harness is equipped with original connectors that fit directly in most cases. On some vehicles, it may be necessary to cut the wiring. The emulator is specifically developed for certain Skoda and Chrysler models such as the Chrysler Voyager 2.0i 16v. After installation, the system automatically adjusts the ignition characteristics for optimal combustion of the gas-air mixture.
