The modular is used in vehicles that have a special analysis of the data engine control unit (ECU) for the fuel level indicator such as Citroen, Dacia and Peugeot.

In these vehicles, the filling level is determined mainly by calculation on the gasoline injection amount by the engine control unit and determined.

The actual tank level sensor is used only as a periodic adjustment. This emulator prevents a malfunction of the fuel level indicator in the gas operation.
