Key Features

- Precise RPM Control: Ensures a smooth transition between petrol and LPG.
- Adjustable Parameters: TR1 (RPM reference) and TR2 (deactivation delay).
- Optimal Fuel Management: Prevents simultaneous use of petrol and LPG.
- Engine Component Protection: Extends the lifespan of injectors and other key parts.
- Easy Installation: Clear wiring with color-coded cables and manual.

Application in an LPG System
The Lovato RPM Module M238 regulates the transition point between petrol and LPG. It monitors engine RPM and activates or deactivates relays based on preset values.

How it works:

  • At startup, the engine runs on petrol.
  • When the engine RPM exceeds TR1, the relay activates, switching the engine to LPG.
  • When RPM drops below TR1, the relay deactivates after the delay set by TR2.
  • This prevents unnecessary fuel injection and protects the engine from wear and overload.

When to use this module?

  • For engines requiring a specific RPM for LPG switching.
  • To prevent simultaneous use of petrol and LPG.
  • To protect injectors and other vulnerable components.
  • To ensure a smooth and efficient fuel transition.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Signal Collection: Ensure the signal is taken from the negative terminal only.
  2. Relay Functions:
    • The relay activates above TR1 RPM.
    • The relay deactivates below TR1 RPM, after the TR2 delay.
  3. Wiring Color Codes:
    • Brown: Ground connection
    • Red: Relay power supply
    • Yellow: Relay signal
    • Blue: Gas signal
    • Black: Ground for relay
  4. Correct Wiring: Follow the manual wiring diagram.
  5. Isolate Unused Wires: Prevent short circuits.
