This complete LPG kit is specifically developed for the following VAG engine codes: CHP, CJx, CPx, CUK, CXS, CYV, CZx, DGE, DJx and DKR. These TSI engines are found in various Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda models with modern direct injection technology.
Technical features and benefits
The Prins VSI-3 DI system operates on the principle of vapour sequential injection of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) into the engine. The system converts liquid LPG to vapour form before sequentially injecting it into the DI engine. A unique feature is the electronically controlled eVP-500 evaporator system, the world's first fully electronic LPG evaporator for engines up to 500 horsepower.
An important characteristic of the VSI-3 DI system is the average petrol consumption of approximately 5% during LPG operation. This minimal petrol admixture is necessary to ensure cooling of the petrol injectors, even when running on autogas. This prevents damage and ensures optimal performance.
