Adapter Cable for Switch AEB119B to AEB750B - Connector for Old LPG Switches Bigas Romano OMVL
The adapter cable for switch AEB119B to AEB750B is an essential connection cable that makes it possible to use the new LPG switch AEB119B as a replacement for the old, no longer available AEB750B switch. This adapter is indispensable when you have an old LPG installation with the original AEB750B connector and want to upgrade to the modern AEB119B model without replacing the entire wiring.
Technical specifications
- Type: Switch adapter cable
- Old connection: AEB750B connector
- New connection: AEB119B connector
- Function: Adapter between old and new switch
- Compatibility: Bigas, Romano, OMVL, AEB systems
- Cable length: Standard adapter (short cable)
Compatibility and applications
This adapter cable is specially developed for use with older LPG systems where the AEB750B switch was used. The old switch was widely used in the first sequential injection systems from brands like Bigas, Romano and in lambda controlled systems like AEB Leonardo, Bigas Pegaso and OMVL Millennium. Since the AEB750B is no longer in production, this adapter cable offers a practical solution to switch to the modern AEB119B switch without costly modifications to the original wiring in your vehicle.
Function and use
The adapter cable has on one side the connector that fits the old AEB750B wiring in your vehicle, and on the other side the connector for the new AEB119B switch. This allows you to easily replace the old switch with the new model. The LPG switch is used to switch between petrol and LPG, check the tank level via LED indication and sometimes also to read error codes. By using this adapter, you save considerable costs and time compared to completely replacing the main wiring harness.
Installation
Disconnect the old AEB750B switch from the existing wiring. Connect the adapter cable to the original AEB750B connector in your vehicle. Then connect the new AEB119B switch to the other side of the adapter cable. Test the operation by starting the system and checking that you can switch between petrol and gas.
