Important information about tank level indicator
Note: this Lovato switch does not have a tank level indicator or content gauge. The switch only has a red LED that warns of an empty LPG tank. For installation in vehicles in Belgium, according to Belgian legislation, a separate tank level indicator is mandatory. You must therefore install an additional content meter or level gauge to comply with legal requirements. This is essential for vehicle inspection and compliance of your LPG installation.
Installation and usage
For installation of the Lovato R80 PN switch, mount it in an accessible location in the dashboard. Connect the electrical wiring according to the Lovato diagram for vacuum vaporizers. Connect the choke control to the choke mechanism of the carburetor. Connect the changeover output to the LPG vaporizer. Test the choke function and fuel changeover.
