AEB 160H Pitagora Injection Emulator 4 Cylinder for Honda - Petrol Injector Cut-Off LPG Autogas System
Function and Application
The AEB 160H Pitagora is an advanced injector emulator and cut-off device specifically designed for Honda vehicles with 4-cylinder engines. This electronic component ensures seamless switching from petrol to LPG by disconnecting the petrol injectors and emulating their operation when the engine runs on gas. The device prevents the Check Engine Light from activating by simulating normal injector function to the petrol ECU, even when the vehicle operates on an LPG installation.
Technical Specifications
The system operates with a power supply voltage of 10-14 VDC and is suitable for injectors with a resistance of 11-16 Ohm. The Pitagora emulator offers three selectable emulation types, providing flexibility for different Honda engines. The overlap time for switching from petrol to gas is adjustable from 0 to approximately 1 second, ensuring smooth transition without engine hesitation. An important advantage is that polarity control of injectors is not necessary, simplifying installation.
Installation and Use
The AEB 160H comes with Honda-specific wiring that is easy to install in LPG conversion systems. Each petrol injector is individually interrupted and emulated, ensuring optimal control. The device is an essential component of modern vapour injection systems and works seamlessly with LPG vaporizers, gas injectors, and ECUs. With correct installation, the emulator ensures that OBD diagnostics detect no faults and the vehicle continues to run smoothly on autogas.
Benefits
Using this injection emulator offers several advantages: no warning lights, reliable operation on LPG, fuel savings through efficient gas conversion, and preservation of original engine performance. The product is ideal for professional LPG installers and workshops converting Honda vehicles to more sustainable autogas systems.
