Cylindrical LPG Tank 40 Liters with ECE 67R-01 Approval - Diameter 270 mm x Length 790 mm - Universal Gas Tank for Cooking, Heating or Driving - 1-Hole Design for Liquid and Vapor Extraction

Compact and Versatile Gas Storage Solution

This cylindrical LPG tank with a gross capacity of 40 liters (32 liters net after 80% filling) is a professional gas tank suitable for various applications in campers, caravans, motorhomes, food trucks, and passenger vehicles. Thanks to its innovative 1-hole design, this propane butane tank offers maximum flexibility in use. You can choose between liquid extraction for driving on LPG or vapor extraction for cooking and heating, depending on the chosen multivalve. The tank features ECE 67R-01 European approval, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards for autogas tanks and camping gas tanks.

Technical Specifications and Dimensions

With compact dimensions of 270 mm diameter and 790 mm length and an empty weight of approximately 20 kg, this LPG cylinder tank is ideal for installation in different types of vehicles. The gas tank has one central connection for a multivalve, making it universally applicable. For driving on autogas, you choose a multivalve with internal dip tube that extracts liquid LPG from the bottom of the tank. For cooking and heating, you use a multivalve for vapor extraction that extracts the gas at the top of the tank. The tank complies with the strict 67R-01 homologation and does not require a 10-year recertification, but an annual visual inspection according to current regulations.

Mounting and Installation Options

The LPG reservoir can be mounted in various ways depending on your specific application and vehicle type. For mounting under the vehicle or inside a recreational vehicle, separately available mounting brackets and a tank frame with tension straps are necessary. During horizontal mounting, the tank must be installed according to regulations with the appendages slightly facing downward, usually at an angle of 105 degrees relative to the horizontal center plane. For built-in installation in the vehicle interior, a gas-tight tank box or appendage box with ventilation hose is mandatory to guarantee maximum safety and directly vent any gas leaks to the outside.

Usage and Practical Applications

This refillable gas tank is perfect for those seeking reliable gas supply for their food truck, mobile home, pitch, or passenger car with LPG installation. You can easily refill the LPG tank at any LPG filling station via an external filling hose with bayonet connection or ACME connection on the body. The tank works together with a two-stage pressure regulator to deliver the correct gas pressure to your gas appliances such as cooking hobs, gas heating, or the engine of your vehicle. For driving on LPG, you must choose a multivalve that extracts liquid gas, while for cooking and heating, a vapor extraction multivalve is needed that supplies gaseous LPG.
