The LPG Tank Box DEL AL aluminium appendage housing provides a professional solution for installing a 4-hole LPG tank inside a vehicle. Ideal for autogas system installations where the tank is positioned within the trunk or cabin.
• Consists of aluminium lid and lower housing – sturdy and corrosion-resistant.
• Includes rubber grommets for sealed hose and pipe passages.
• Includes worm-drive hose clamps for secure fixings.
• Suitable for all 4-hole tanks from brands GZWM and STAKO, both toroidal (ring) and cylindrical types.
• Outlet dimensions: Ø44 mm + 2×Ø26 mm – for vent hose and gas evac.
• Approval: E4-67R01-0103 or equivalent.
When is a tank box required?
When the tank’s valves and appendages are installed inside the vehicle, any leak must be safely vented outside via a vent hose. This box captures and directs any released gas to the exterior, enhancing autogas safety. If the tank is mounted under the chassis or outside, a sealed enclosure is not recommended: moisture may accumulate and cause corrosion of the anchoring plate.
Compatibility & Installation
Compatible with 4-hole tanks of GZWM, STAKO and Witte Van Moort (WVM). Note: the approval covers only GZWM & STAKO. For installation: secure the lower housing, attach the lid, insert rubber grommets, connect the vent hose routed outside. Ensure hose is free, straight and sized correctly for safe evacuation.

Usage Tips
Check whether the tank is inside the vehicle. If the tank is mounted externally or underfloor, it is preferable not to use the gas‐tight box, but allow open-air ventilation. The vent hose must exit outdoors directly, unobstructed, and with no possibility of gas recirculation.
