Details

To attach the LPG toroidal tank to the floor, you can use this tensioning hook. In the case of installation in a metal spare wheel well, tensioning hooks are usually used. These allow you to pull the LPG tank down against the bottom of the spare wheel well.

Our tensioning hooks are equipped with M10 thread and comply with legal requirements.

Instructions:

• Apply insulation between the thread of the tensioning hooks and the tank, for example using a piece of gas hose over the thread.
• Use large body washers and nuts on both sides of the base plate to tension the tensioning hooks and secure the tank in the wheel well.
• If there are not enough tensioning hooks, you can use strong metal strips from the mounting eyes to a nearby sturdy metal body part. This attachment method may also be used in combination with tensioning hooks. For example, use 2x tensioning hook and 2x metal strip. A minimum of 4 attachment points are required in total.

Don't forget to apply the mandatory insulation between the tank and the bottom of the wheel well. Ensure that there is no metal-to-metal contact.
