Mounting and usage
The mounting frame can be installed in two ways. For boot mounting, the supplied 2 brackets are sufficient. For undermounting to the underside of the vehicle, it is mandatory to use 3 mounting brackets for extra safety and stability. We therefore strongly recommend ordering an additional bracket set for undermounting. We offer the universal strap set with 2 brackets (art.no. 110002) which is perfectly compatible with this tank frame.
Installation advice
Installation of the LPG tank frame must be carried out by a certified LPG installer who has experience in mounting gas tanks. For undermounting, extra attention is required for protection against stones, dirt and corrosion. Ensure that all mounting brackets are firmly tightened and regularly checked for rust or wear. Correct mounting guarantees years of safe use of your autogas installation.
