Mounting and usage
The mounting frame can be installed in two ways according to your preference and vehicle configuration. For boot mounting, the supplied 2 brackets are sufficient for secure and sturdy attachment. For undermounting to the underside of the chassis, it is mandatory according to safety regulations and installation guidelines to use 3 mounting brackets for maximum stability and safety while driving. We therefore strongly advise ordering an additional bracket set for undermounting. We offer the universal strap set with 2 brackets (art.no. 110002) which is perfectly compatible with this tank frame and easy to install.
Installation advice
Installation of the LPG tank frame must always be carried out by a certified and approved LPG installer who has experience in professionally mounting gas tanks and autogas installations. For undermounting, extra attention is required for protection against stones, dirt, corrosion, road salt and extreme weather conditions. Ensure that all mounting brackets are tightened according to regulations and checked regularly.
