Victron Energy Skylla-TG 24/30(1+1) GL 120-240V 24V 30A Battery Charger EAN 8719076025733

The Victron Skylla-TG 24/30 GL is a heavy-duty, microprocessor-controlled 24V battery charger engineered for demanding marine and industrial power networks. This premium marine battery charger carries the prestigious Germanischer Lloyd (GL) approval. Featuring universal auto-ranging input capabilities, this smart charger operates flawlessly on global electrical grids from 90-265V AC or 90-400V DC. It features two isolated outputs: the main terminal delivers a full 30 Amp current, while the second output supplies 4 Amp trickle charge for an engine starter battery.

Advanced Charging and Control Technology This power supply unit utilizes an automated 3-stage IUoUo-laadkarakteristiek charging profile to maximize the performance of your lead-acid battery, gel battery, or AGM battery. The included external temperature sensor automatically adjusts charging voltages based on real-time battery temperatures. An integrated voltage sense mechanism measures voltage directly at the battery terminals to compensate for cable losses. Due to its perfectly stabilized output, it can also function as a standalone DC power supply without a battery attached.

Key Specifications and Benefits

  • GL-certified multi-bank battery charger compliant with commercial shipping safety standards.

  • Simultaneous charging of the primary house bank and an isolated engine cranking battery.

  • Robust IP21 rated enclosure with comprehensive electronic protection against short circuits and reverse polarity.

  • Front panel analog meters for instant verification of real-time voltage and current outputs.

Installation and Operating Instructions Mount the Victron Skylla-TG charger vertically onto a solid, non-flammable surface with adequate cooling clearance. Connect the temperature and voltage sense leads directly to the primary battery bank. Wire the heavy-duty CC cables using appropriately rated fuses. Finally, plug in the AC input line to initiate the automated multi-stage program. The internal microprocessor will independently regulate power delivery depending on battery conditions.
