O-ring for Multivalve Vialle LPi and ICOM JTG - Dimensions 107.54 x 3.53 mm - Tank Seal between LPG Tank and Multivalve - Universal Sealing Ring for Liquid Injection Systems
Universal Sealing Ring for LPG Tanks
This high-quality O-ring with precision dimensions of 107.54 mm inner diameter and 3.53 mm cord thickness is specially designed as a tank seal for LPG systems with liquid injection. The sealing ring is compatible with both Vialle LPi tanks and ICOM JTG tanks and forms an essential component of the multivalve connection. This rubber seal is placed between the LPG tank and the multivalve to guarantee a completely gas-tight connection and prevent gas leaks in autogas installations.
Technical Specifications and Material
The O-ring has an inner diameter of 107.54 mm and a cross-section thickness of 3.53 mm, which corresponds to the Parker 2-244 standard according to the international ISO 3601 norm. The product is manufactured from NBR rubber (Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber), a material that offers excellent resistance to LPG, propane, butane, and other hydrocarbons. The seal withstands temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and operates optimally at pressures up to 30 bar, which perfectly meets the requirements of 67R-01 approved tanks. Due to its elastic properties, the O-ring compensates for minor irregularities and ensures a perfect seal between the tank flange and the multivalve housing.
Compatibility and Applications
This multivalve seal is suitable for all Vialle LPi systems and ICOM JTG installations using liquid injection technology. The O-ring fits on toroidal LPG tanks and cylindrical gas tanks equipped with a 1-hole multivalve. This is the large seal that is placed directly on the tank connection before mounting the multivalve. The seal is essential for vehicles converted to LPG, including passenger cars from brands such as Renault, Opel, Dacia, BMW, and Volvo equipped with Vialle or ICOM gas conversion systems.
Installation and Maintenance
When replacing the tank seal, you must first dismantle the multivalve by loosening the mounting bolts. Then thoroughly clean the sealing surfaces of both the tank and the multivalve to ensure optimal sealing. Place the new O-ring in the designated groove on the tank and ensure it is not twisted or stretched during installation. Preferably apply a thin layer of silicone grease or glycerin to the O-ring for better placement and longevity. Remount the multivalve and tighten the bolts crosswise with the prescribed torque to prevent damage to the seal. Regular inspection of the O-ring is recommended, at least annually or during each tank inspection, to detect wear in time and prevent gas leaks.
