16042900 conversion cable for old generation JTG to current UCE01 ECU with connector A and B

Overview
The 16042900 conversion cable is designed for ICOM JTG and JTG New systems with the UCE01 ECU. It is used for the conversion, replacement, or upgrade of an old JTG control unit to a current UCE01 ECU. The new UCE01 V05 can operate with or without an NTC temperature sensor.

Application

• For JTG New with an NTC sensor: connector A is connected to the temperature sensor.

• For JTG New without the NTC sensor connected: connector B (16042900) is inserted into connector A to ground the ECU.

• For first-generation JTG: the update is done by connecting pin 26 to ground on the UCE01 ECU.
